I purchased DCK940D2 9 tool combo kit on amazon. I received them Novemeber 25th 2018. Tools have been great so far except for the reciprocating saw. I noticed it was making a weird noise, but it was working. I used it a handful of times to cut drywall. I’m a finish carpenter and it’s a great tool to have handy when the drywallers overhang their drywall passed doorway rough openings. The last time I tried using it the motor completely seized up and started smoking. I was using a fully charged 20v 5ah battery. I’m guessing the saw is defective.
